As the general population grows older, there is an increasing concern about protecting the interests of the elderly.  Our experience in this area extends beyond the obvious issues of proper estate planning through trusts and other documents.   We help our clients and their families plan for incapacity and disability through the use of powers of attorney.  In many cases, family members reach a stage of their life when they are no longer capable of managing their finances or caring for themselves, and action must be taken to protect them.
