Jerry Nastari joined our firm as a partner in 2000. Mr. Nastari concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, business, construction and trust litigation, class action, complex litigation and elder law. He also often serves as a court appointed arbitrator for cases in the San Mateo County Superior Court. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Nastari was a partner with the law firm of Winters, Krug, Delbon & Nastari, where his practice focused on insurance defense and insurance fraud matters. Mr. Nastari’s experience on both the plaintiff and defense sides of cases gives him a unique perspective and understanding of litigation practice.
Recently Mr. Nastari successfully resolved a complex construction defect case as the sole plaintiff’s counsel. Representing the owners of a large hotel, Mr. Nastari reached a settlement of over $20 million with 15 defendants. Prior to that matter, he championed the case of several elderly Millbrae homeowners whose properties sustained damage in a massive mudslide. The suit, filed against various private parties and public entities, resulted in a settlement exceeding $6 million, in addition to $7 million in landslide repair.
Mr. Nastari earned his B.A., in Criminal Justice at California State University, Sacramento, prior to working in the San Mateo County Probation Department. He then joined the San Mateo County Superior Court as its Master Calendar Coordinator, where he remained while obtaining his M.A., in Public Administration from California State University, Hayward, and his J.D., from Santa Clara University.
