Amanda L. Riddle represents clients in various general and complex litigation matters, including business, employment, and mass torts. She also serves as the managing partner of our firm, overseeing all aspects of the business.

Ms. Riddle leads mass tort disaster cases, focusing on wildfire and explosion cases arising from corporate wrongdoing. Ms. Riddle has repeatedly been appointed by courts to serve as liaison counsel and in leadership roles in mass tort cases, including the Eaton Fire Litigation, the PG&E Bankruptcy, the 2015 Butte Fire case, and the 2010 San Bruno Explosion case. Ms. Riddle leads various aspects of these litigations and was a member of the team that negotiated a $13.5B settlement for wildfire victims as part of the PG&E bankruptcy reorganization. To date, Ms. Riddle has represented over 6,000 victims and survivors of wildfires and explosions, securing over $1.5B in compensation for them. In 2013, Ms. Riddle was selected as a finalist for the Consumer Attorneys of California’s Woman Advocate of the Year Award for her exemplary work on the PG&E case.
Ms. Riddle also manages the firm’s employment law practice. In addition to overseeing employment litigation cases, her extensive litigation experience provides a basis for counseling businesses on employment matters, as there is no better attorney to help a business avoid litigation, than a seasoned litigator.
In 2008, Ms. Riddle co-founded the San Mateo County Bar Association Legal Clinic Committee, which provided on-site legal services to residents of Shelter Network and Samaritan House’s homeless shelters on the Peninsula.
