Our mass torts attorneys handle a broad range of injury cases, advocating for victims who have suffered at the hands of man-made disasters. Mass torts cases involve multiple plaintiffs who have sustained injuries under similar circumstances from the same responsible party. We litigate cases ranging from catastrophic explosions and fires to consumer incidents to residential accidents including landslides.
Over the past decade, our team successfully pursued mass torts claims against Pacific Gas & Electric Company and other large utilities. Following the tragic San Bruno natural gas pipeline explosion in 2010, our attorneys represented members of 45 families against PG&E and successfully obtained confidential settlements for every one of those victims. In more recent years, our attorneys have represented over 6,000 victims of the 2015 “Butte Fire” in Calaveras County, the October 2017 fires that that raged through Northern California, and the 2018 “Camp Fire,” the deadliest and most destructive fire in California’s history. In each of those cases, our attorneys were appointed by the Court to leadership and liaison positions to represent not only our clients, but those of other firms as well. Our leadership and track record speak for themselves.
While our mass torts attorneys are highly skilled and knowledgeable in navigating the complexities of mass torts cases, we also understand the human toll these tragedies take on our vulnerable clients. Our team prides itself on working with compassion to fully understand our clients’ needs and obtain the results best suited for them.
